Can Cau Market – Sapa Tour 3 Nights 2 Days

Night 1: Hanoi Departure (Night train)
Our tour will be started at 21:00 at the lobby of the hotel. Our guide will pick you up and transfer to the Hanoi Railway station for the overnight to Sapa.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Can Cau Market – Sa Pa (every  Saturday) (B, L)
Early departure from Lao Cai train station on Saturday morning. Transfer by road 122km to Can Cau via Lao Cai city and Bac Ha Town let. The road is good but having many sharp bend with a long descend and a long ascend which takes about 3 hours including one or two breaks along the way.

Arrive to the market place at about 10.00 am. Spend two hours joining the local tribal peoples including Flower H’mong, Black Zao, Phu La and Tay for the festive market activities where peoples in their best traditional costume gather every Saturday for shopping and socializing. The right location of the market place also offers photo-hunters ideal opportunity for taking photos, not only of peoples in colorful traditional costumes but also breathtaking landscapes of the perfect surrounding. Leaving the market almost at noon, drirve 20 km back to Bac Ha town letfor lunch break.

In the afternoon, you will take a walk to Ban Pho, a small village of Nung and Flower Hmong. The villagers grow vegetables and fruit trees. One of the most famous fruit of the area is plum. Visit a local house and taste a cup of corn wine, another famous product of the village. Then go back to hotel late in the afternoon.

Day 2: Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van village- Lao Cai  (B, L)
The day is devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sa Pa valley. Start by road that descends in the wake of the street Cau May (6 km) En route, admire the rice terraces hidden behind mist of the morning, a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Follow a small track and cross Muong Hoa River and pass well tended rice terraces on your way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continuing through the colorful rice terraces you will reach the village of Ta Van Giay. As you continue your trek along the Muong Hoa River you will cross a small suspension bridge, roughly 2km from the settlement. Here you can discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. These engravings depict some beautiful images of man, stilt houses and some beautiful decorative patterns. We lunch in a home in the village. After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for your journey back to Lao Cai for overnight on train.

Day 3: Hanoi Arrival
Up on arrival in Hanoi very early in the morning at around 5:30am. Our guide will pick you up and transfer to your hotel.
End of service.
