Glimpse of Vietnam 8 Days

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel in Hanoi for check in and relax.
Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B,L)
8:00 – 8:30: After breakfast, our guide will pick you up in your hotel for a full day Hanoi City Tour. You will have time to explore many the city’s fascinating historical and cultural sites as well as local people’s life. You will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum first and listen about his great life. Then, the tour continues to Temple of Literature – the first National University of Vietnam.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After that, we visit Museum of Ethnology where you can learn about diversity of ethnic minority group in Vietnam. Back to the city and take a cyclo tour in 1 hour through the bustling and exciting Old Quarter to explore marketplace shops and old houses. You’ll end your day with a water puppet show - a unique Vietnamese art formed from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)
08h00 – 08h30: After breakfast, car pick you up at your hotel and start the scenic 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay - listed as a World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on Cruise, followed by a short cruise briefing
13h00 – 15h30: Have a delectable lunch in Cruises while crusing among the limestone islands. Enjoy the incredible view of limestone karsts out of the sea and the thousands of jungle-covered islands floating on the water.
15h30 – 16h30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Luon Cave area and explore the bay in your own.
16h30: Back to the Cruise.
16h30 – 17h30: Cruise to Soi Sim island for swimming among turquoise water and relaxing at the beach or climping up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h30: Return to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos of sunset.
19h00: Dinner is served. After that, you are free to socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around. Overnight on board.

Day 4: Halong – Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh (B,L)
06h30 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt and enjoy sunrise on the Bay
07h30 – 08h30: Have breakfast
08h30 – 09h30: Take boat to explore Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30: Return to the boat. Relax and check out of your cabin.
09h30 – 10h30: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village to see life of fishmen; Dog Islet and more…
10h30 – 11h30: While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00: Disembark Cruise
12h30: Transfer back to Hanoi. Our driver will take you Noi Bai airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Check in in hotel and overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnel (B,L)
This morning, you will be picked up and transferred to Cu Chi tunnel to explore network of mysterious underground tunnels where witnessed fierce Vietnam – American war in the past. It was a city where around 10.000 people virtually lived underground for years with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, contributing to resistance to American forces. Today, it becomes a popular tourist attraction, reflecting a part of Vietnam history.
After lunch, you’ll back to Ho Chi Minh City and spend this afternoon exploring the dynamic city. Visit Reunification Palace, the former palace of President Thieu and his predecessors; War Remnants Museum; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho ( B,L)
Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages.  Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel (family home-stay with dinner can be arranged on request). Free time to visit bustling Can Tho market.

Day 7: Phong Dien – Cai Rang (B,L)
Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river ( Bassac River), then proceed to visit Cai Rang floating market (& Phong Dien is optional), which are the liveliest in the whole religion.
Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only o¬ne stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden. Stop for lunch. Back to HCM city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
You are free until your car arrives and take you to the airport for your flight. Trip ends. See you again.
