Visitors to Lao Cai up 25%
The number of tourists to northern mountainous Lao Cai Province witnessed a year-on-year increase of 25% over the past seven months of the year.
It was largely attributed to the locality’s 2014 Tourism Promotion Program which promotes images of “Safe, friendly and attractive Lao Cai”.
To attract more visitors, the province continues to launch the promotion package and new tourist products.
After having Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway opened to traffic, the province plans to invest more than VND200 billion in tourist infrastructure in 2014-2016.
