Day 1: Hoi An - Hue

Itinerary:
Hue is a place that offers many cultural treasures: the tombs of kings, the imperial citadel and temples. In Vietnam there is no other place that has as many original historical remnants as this ancient capital.  On this tour we will visit the most famous landmarks situated within Hue’s borders, such as: Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Minh Mang Tomb and Dong Ba Riverside Market.

We will stay overnight in Hue.

Day 2: Hue – Quang Tri
Today's activities: Quang Tri visiting
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Overnight in Dong Hoi
Itinerary:
On the second day of this tour we will depart Hue and head for Quang Tri Province. Along the way, we will stop at a number of different battle sites to see the La Vang Church, the Quang Tri Citadel, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge and the Seventeenth Parallel - the former borderline between North and South Vietnam during the war. In the afternoon, we will visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels where North Vietnamese guerrilla fighters lived and fought. We will continue on our way to Dong Hoi, check in at our hotel and then relax overnight.

Day 3: Dong Hoi - Phong Nha Cave – Hue/Hoi An
Today's activities: Phong Nha visiting - Return Hoi An
Meals: Breakfast,  Lunch
Itinerary:
Our day will begin with breakfast before driving to Phong Nha Cave – a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 2003. Upon arrival, the group will travel by boat along the river to a complex of caves. After a short hike up the '300 steps', you will have the chance to explore these caves with their hundreds of glistening stalactites (rock structures hanging from cave ceiling) and stalagmites (rock structures erected from cave floor) in various shapes and sizes. We will continue our journey sailing down the river and into a limestone mountain cave. Inside the cave, you can leave the boat and walk through the stalactites and stalagmites before returning to Hue or Hoi An.
