Cuc Phuong National Park is well set up for tourism and sees a steady stream of visitors, attracted principally by the excellent primate rescue centre, but also by the easy access to impressively ancient trees. With more time, you can walk into the park interior, overnight in a Muong village and experience the multi-layered forest. The most enjoyable time for walking in these hills is October to January, when mosquitoes and leeches take a break and temperatures are relatively cool – but this is also peak season.
At 8:00, Asia Charm Tours's guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi to start the 2.5 hour drive to Cuc Phuong National Park. On arrival in the Cuc Phuong National Park - the first and biggest national park in Vietnam. The park is one of the most important sites for biodiversity in Vietnam. You'll start a walk to the Botanical Garden Loop trail with a local guide and stop for lunch at the restaurant inside the park.
After lunch, you'll continue trekking to visit the Primate Rescue Center where is home to several endangered primates of Vietnam, and then climb the Observation Lookout on top of a hill for panoramic views of the Park.
You'll get back to Hanoi late afternoon and end this day trip in Hanoi at around 19:00.
