Tour overview:

This tour is special designed to visit Vietnam within only a week from South up North. It covers many highlights of Vietnam including: the bustle & hustle Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon) and the legendary Cu Chi Tunnel, the former capital city of Hue, the stately Hanoi capital city and the magnificent Halong Bay. The trip allows you to maximize our visit during such short time; however it is still strike the balance between touring and relaxing.

Day 1:  Arrival Ho Chi Minh city

Asia Charm Tours team will meet us right at the arrival hall of the airport. A comfortable vehicle and driver will be ready and waiting to take us to the hotel.
Have free time for the rest of the day.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: Saigon city tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B,L)Cu Chi tunnels
After breakfast we depart our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Before our lunch, we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post.

In the afternoon, we will leave Saigon for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. After that we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 3 Mekong Delta – Cai Be Floating market – Fly to Hue (B,L)Cai Be Floating Market

At 07:30am, we transfer to Cai Be for our visit to floating market and island. The program will start with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where we can see how rice paste, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn is made. The rowing boat will take us deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish... Lunch will be served at local house. After lunch, we can walk around and then we will enjoy some kinds of fruits when listening to the traditional music. One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta.. The cruise will end at Vinh Long city where we take our own vehicle back to Tan Son Nhat airport (Ho Chi Minh city airport) to take our short domestic flight to Hue. After 1 hour flight, we are welcomed and take to hotel. Checking in and overnight in Hue.

Day 4:  Hue City Tour - Flight to Hanoi (B,L)Hue City Tour
Hue is known as an ancient Capital city of many original historical vestiges. There are more than 100 architectural works to be extremely reflected the life of Emperors and Mandarins under Nguyen’s reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the Southern Bank of Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings.
Our tour starts at 08:30 in the morning at the lobby of the hotel. We will be met and transferred to the Wharf where we will cruise along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady pagoda), from here we will have a good view of Perfume River and surroundings. And then we take our vehicle to Tu Duc King’s tomb, which is one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb lies in a boundless pine forest.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Free at leisure in the rest of the day until transfering to the airport for flight to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi City Tour Full DayHanoi (B,L)

we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hour to visit: outside Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.
After that, we transfer to a local restaurant for our lunch before checking in hotel at midday.
We then transfer to visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam; Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority people.,
In the rest of the day, we take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6 Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)Halong Bay

We are met at the lobby of hotel by our tour guide & driver at 08:00AM for a transfer to Halong Bay. After more than 3 hours driving including a stop-over in Hai Duong city, we arrive in Halong Bay at around 11:30. We move from our car to our private boat. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch onboard your traditional junk while cruising leisurely through the natural wonders of Ha Long Bay, passing the most beautiful spots in the Bay. Discover the amazing stalactites in Dau Go (Wooden Stakes) Grotto and Thien Cung (Haven Palace) Grotto with their fantastic history. The afternoon cruise is highly recommended for those who want to discover Ha Long Bay within a limited timeframe. We then go back to the dock by another way at around 16:00 and we are picked-up by our vehicle & will return to Hanoi in the evening at around 19-19:30 with drop back at the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7 Depart Hanoi

Today we are free at our leisure, then transfer to Hanoi airport for your departure flight. Trip concludes.
