This tour takes us from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) within 9 days. The trip covers most of the main attractions in Vietnam including three world heritage sites in Vietnam.
Hanoi: Sightseeing with a Local Guide; water puppets performance; visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace, and Temple of Literature; take a “cyclo” ride through the Old Quarter
Halong Bay: Overnight cruise in a traditional Junk boat, discover caves & fishing villages, explore the lagoon.
Danang - Hoi An: See ancient sculpture in the Cham Museum, and tour Buddhist cave temples in the Marble Mountains. A walking tour through the UNESCO listed Old Quarter; Countryside bike ride, visit an old merchant house, the Hoi An Museum, and a Chinese assembly hall.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Welcome up on arrival by Asia Charm Tours, you will be transferred to hotel in the center city. Relax in the rest of the day. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi Sightseeing (B,L)HoChiMinh Mausoleum
After breakfast, we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. Then stop for lunch.
Afternoon, we visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam - Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples. After that we will take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally, each of the 36 streets names' was related to the products being sold there. Before going back to hotel, we enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show. The trip will be finished after the show at the hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)kayaking on Halong bay
Early this morning, we’ll drive from Hanoi to one of the most magnificent scenic environments in the world, Halong Bay. Covering 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. We’ll spend a day and a half, including an overnight with dinner and breakfast onboard, exploring this overwhelming seascape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Comfortable and intimate, your boat features hand-crafted wooden interiors including a dining room and pleasant air-conditioned cabins with private baths. Since we’re overnight on the water, we’ll be able to explore Ha Long Bay’s most beautiful spots with time to swim and even visit some of the largest rock formations and caves. Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Flight to Hue (B,L)thienmu
Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.
After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax. Cruises back to the jetty while brunch is served while you are cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Cruise check-out. Rejoin car drive back to Hanoi. Then, tranferring to the the airport for flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5: Hue City Tour (B,L)
Have breakfast. Visit the Tomb of Tu Duc king or Khai Dinh king.Hoi-An-walking
11:30: Have lunch at restaurant with local foods.
12:30: Visit the Imperial Citadel, the Palace of 13 Nguyen’s Kings, the last feudal dynasty of Viet Nam
15:00: Visit Thien Mu pagoda, was built in the early of XVII Century. Shopping at Dong Ba Market.
16:00: Leave Hue for Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An City Tour - Flight to Ho Chi Minh (B,L)
This morning, we will drive to visit My Son where was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty. My Son Sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works. You can admire ancient architecture of temples and towers connected to each other with complicated red brick.
Afternoon, we will start walking tour around the ancient town to visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, Cantonese congregation, silk street of Hoi An, temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. Then transfering to Danang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi Tunnels (B,L)
We start the trip by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. In the afternoon, we leave Ho Chi Minh City for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. After that we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 8: Mekong DeltaCu Chi (B,L)
At 08.00 we leave Ho Chi Minh city behind and head to Vietnam's rice basket, the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Next we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. We return to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 9: Departure Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) (B)
Free at leisure for last minute shopping before transferring back to the airport for our flight to home. Trip ends
