Sapa Hill Tribe Visit on Bicycle – 2 Days

Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai (night train)
Pick up at the hotel in Hanoi contre transfer to Hanoi station to catch the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train with soft sleeper berth.

Day 1: Sapa - Su Pan - Thanh Phu - Sin Chai (B, L,D)

Pick up from Lao Cai station transfer to Sapa for breakfast and relax

This tour takes you through the Sapa valley with its amazing scenery of mountains and rice paddy fields as far as the eye can see. You will start from Sapa by cycling along the newly built dirt road, which will bring you to the Black Hmong village of Su Pan. After a short break here, you will pass through the Black Hmong village to the Tay ethnic minority village of Thanh Phu. While your cook is preparing a delicious lunch, you will have time to explore the village and soon you will find out that things are not done in the way you are used to know.

In the afternoon, your adventure continues into the Red Dao village of Sin Chai, where you will your tasteful dinner in a local house and stay overnight in the bamboo huts built by Asia Charm Tours.

Distance: 40 Km
Up / straight / down: 6 km / 20 km / 14 km

Day 2: Sin Chai - Ban Ho - Sapa (B, L, D)
You will start the easy morning with a bike ride to the Tay village of Ban Ho. Upon arrival, you will take a short walk to the nearby river, where you will be able to have a swim.

You will then enjoy your lunch on the river bank, listening to the wonderful sound of the nearby waterfall. Following lunch you will return to Sapa where a bath and maybe a drink will be waiting for you.

Then, you will be transfered to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi.

Data day 2:
Distance: 43 Km Up/ straight/ down: 14km / 19km / 10km
Note: This trip is on dirt road. Therefore, good weather conditions are essential

Night 3: Lao Cai - Hanoi
Overnight on the train.
Arrive in Hanoi railway station around 05.30 am. Tour finishes. You take a taxi back to your hotel on your own.
