Day 1: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay (L, D)
Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)

08h00 After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and start the scenic 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay - listed as a World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on Cruise, followed by a short cruise briefing
13h00 – 15h30: Have a delectable lunch in Cruises while crusing among the limestone islands. Enjoy the incredible view of limestone karsts out of the sea and the thousands of jungle-covered islands floating on the water.
15h30 – 16h30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Luon Cave area and explore the bay in your own.
16h30: Back to the Cruise.
16h30 – 17h30: Cruise to Soi Sim island for swimming among turquoise water and relaxing at the beach or climping up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h30: Return to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos of sunset.
19h00: Dinner is served. After that, you are free to socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around. Overnight on board.
Day 2: Halong – Hanoi (B,L)
06h30 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt and enjoy sunrise on the Bay
07h30 – 08h30: Have breakfast
08h30 – 09h30: Take boat to explore Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30: Return to the boat. Relax and check out of your cabin.
09h30 – 10h30: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village to see life of fishmen; Dog Islet and more…
10h30 – 11h30: While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00: Disembark Cruise
12h30: Transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 3: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake (250km) (B,L,D)
We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi at 07.30 hrs, then hit the road north towards Ba Be National Park. Lunch will be had in a restaurant in a village on the way, and then our route will take us up through the mountains and tea plantations to Ba Be lake, amazing green lake in the middle of natural green forest. We then travel to the Tay village of Coc Toc, with its beautiful stilt houses and friendly population of Tay people, who make their living by fishing in the stunning Ba Be lakes and farming. You will stay in the homestay of a local family here that has been resident in Ba Be for many years, enjoying their wonderful hospitality, and have some time in the evening to explore the beautiful surroundings. You may also wish to take the option of walking or cycling around Coc Toc village, kayaking on the lake in boats that we reserve for our tour guests, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings and enjoying the views.
Day4: Ba Be Lake - Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast at the homestay, we will go on foot to Bo Lu boat station to embark on a 3 hour boat trip, gently touring around the lake. If you need to cool off, this is a great opportunity to jump into the river for a swim - so refreshing! The boat takes you by the slow flowing river, giving you ample opportunity to gaze in awe at the dramatic mountains and valleys and natural caves. You will also get the chance to enjoy some bird and butterfly spotting - the national park is home to a vast variety of flora and fauna. The boat will progress through the Puong cave, which forms a natural tunnel through which the river flows, and has thousands of stalactites and stalagmites as well as a bat colony, several thousand strong. You can rest your legs on the drive back to Hanoi, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant on the way. We should arrive in Hanoi at about 5:30 PM and you will be let off at your hotel in Hanoi.
