From January 2009 the Royal View Hotel changed location. The new hotel is located at 34 Cau May St, Sapa. The former hotel located at 16 Muong Hoa is now called Holiday Sapa Hotel.
Open in January 2009 , the new Royal View Hotel is situated in the centre of Sapa town 200 metres from the central market The hotel is accessed from the main street ( Cau May ) by private driveway, ensuring rooms are sheltered from traffic noise. Most rooms have spectacutar mountain views, as the hotel has been built on the high point of a hill. Sapa town is a 45 minute drive from Lao Cai train station.
